    MAD as a HATTER (Wednesday, 10 March 2010 20:46)

To anyone who may be posting suggestions, I recommend not asking for Kobe or LeBron or Jordan or any other big named EXCLUSIVE athletes who they wouldn't be able to get. Besides you would all just complain that the prices are too high or that there were too many people or they wouldn't let you take a picture or the tickets sold out or whatever else it is you all find to complain about. Please think before you post.

Bill Sharman, Kareem, Jerry West, any of the 50 Greatest Basketball players would be great!

I would second that from good23 any of the 50 Greatest Basketball Players would be great.

Kareem, Pau Gasol, Norm Nixon, Jamal Wilkes, Phil Jackson, Baron Davis, Julius Erving, and Oscar Robertson are some of the guys I would love to see at the UD store. Of all of them Kareem and Dr J would be my two top choices.

Hey Fans, use this post to let us know who YOU want to see. Our new promoters, Sports Integrity, has a lot of contacts out there and wants to hear who you want autographs from. We can't guarantee you that they'll be able to get them but you'd be surprised who you might see here at our store. I know the demand is out there for Laker players but what other athletes from other sports do you want to see? Like Mad as a Hatter stated, take into consideration who it is and the price that the autograph will be. All of us enjoy getting your feedback and will do our best to bring to the store athletes that you want to see. Thanks again, Bob Nevarez- Manager

    OC Dude (Sunday, 14 March 2010 12:22)

Agreed with what the other guy said. We can throw out names of who we would like to see till the cows come home but it boils down to who UD and Sports Integrity has available to us the fans/consumers.

And quite honestly, for the higher guys like LeBron, Kobe, etc. being too expensive whatever...there are plenty of people like myself who would be more than happy to pay the few hundred it would cost to have those guys sign items for us.

Your store is in Orange County, CA not Back of the Woods, Alabama we can sustain higher priced signings if the athlete is top shelf hall of fame and worth it.

No offense but I've been to a few signings like Horry and Bynum and the draw just isn't there for mid to low tier athletes except for the nostalgic fans.

Pau Gasol, Hideki Matsui, Manny Ramirez, Torii Hunter, Tim Salmon, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, AARON RODGERS, Brett Favre, Charles Woodson, LT, Phillip Rivers. Any of these would be WONDERFUL. And I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting some of these. Thanks UD

    LA Fan (Sunday, 14 March 2010 19:52)

Bob asked for guys we'd to have in for a signing, so I named my list of guys. Yes, I understand he won't / can't bring in all--or even most--of them, but it is "my" want list. I have numerous multi-signed items of local sports teams (particularly of championship teams from all eras), and want to add guys who normally don't do public appearances/signings.

Ultimately, it is up to Bob and Sports Integrity to determine what current/former players to bring in for a signing (public or private). If UD could also offer mail-in services at reasonable prices, interest may be greater. Promoters like MAB, Tri-Star, Steiner's all offer mail order, so is there an opportunity for UD Retail and SI? There is demand nationally for guys like Hershiser, Piazza, Martinez, others (not just in So Cal). As Bob mentioned, just let fellow collectors communicate who they'd like to see so UD and SI can gauge interest. We don't need anyone acting as message board police...

BTW, we shouldn't expect Kobe any time soon. He signed an exclusive trading card contract with Panini in Sep 2009.

    any raider greats

  • #21

    Lakermurph (Monday, 15 March 2010 00:58)

Would like to see any/all Lakers, I also think it could be cool to do something with Brandon Jennings/Russell Westbrook/OJ Mayo in the offseason.

I really like to see Tony Gwynn, I know Sports Integrity just did a signing with Cal Ripken, so why not Tony Gwynn too?

UD should really work hard to center a lot of baseball greats around the all star game in July and on the basketball side next Feb with both all star games being in southern california.

  • #23

    Sports Integrity (Monday, 15 March 2010 14:51)

Hi all and thanks for your comments and suggestions. Like Bob said we will try to get a variety of athletes out to the store. We almost has Gasol but the timing wasn't right for him so we may revisit it early next season. We are working on Derek Fisher right now for APR 10 but ITS NOT GUARANTEED YET. Just wanted to give you a heads up that it may happen.

We would love to bring in everyone but the issue is 1) is that player willing to do a public appearance and 2) their fee to attend. If you are not aware of this, the athletes get paid large sums of money to attend and that is what the ticket prices are based on. Athletes can range anywhere from $5000- $150,000.

What are your thoughts on Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh? Bob Gibson? Rampage Jackson(UFC), other UFC guys, other baseball Hall of famers? What about NFL Hall of Famers ie Jack Youngblood, Raiders, Paul Hornung, Colts hall of famers, Jim brown etc.

Love the feedback and hope to see you at future events.

  • #24

    LakeShowFan (Monday, 15 March 2010 22:13)

You can count me in for Rampage, Bob Gibson, Jack Youngblood, Jim Brown, and other UFC (Tito Ortiz, BJ Penn, Cain Velasquez, and or Wanderlei Silva would be awesome).

I have deleted posts that have had negative comments/user names. Those people can repost their requests, but please do so constructively! Sports Dude (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 02:17)

Great idea with having "theme" shows, Lakermurph! (offering "super" tickets for multiple Baseball and Basketball HOFers around the 2 All-Star games, maybe current or old skool Lakers during the offseason). Also, good suggestion about having young NBA players with connections to LA/OC (Jennings, Westbrook, Mayo, other guys who played high school or college ball in the area).

FWIW, there are other local dealers who offer $10, $5, or even free signings for "nostalgic" players (a local dealer/show promoter did it last summer with some 1981 Dodgers players). Nobody makes a killing, but it still brings in traffic, interested fans are happy to get an autograph and some face time from a guy they grew up watching or read about, and the dealer may "win" future business with a good fan experience and customer service.

Personally, I've had good and not-so-good experiences at UD Retail. I didn't make it to the Elgin Baylor signing, but heard it was very good. I'm hoping with the change in promoter and UD Mgmt it is for the better. My sports memoriabilia friends and I are watching how future signings unfold. We all have discretionary money to spend, but do so wisely and look for "value" too. Bringing in guys like Jim Brown, Hornung, Youngblood, Gibson, and some Raider greats (Lott, Plunkett, Allen) at fair prices would be an awesome start!

  • #27

    magiclaker (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 03:28)

Slam and Jam were goods guys. They brought Horry, Bynum, Artest, etc. I hope sports integrity can follow suit. The Baylor signing was great, so far so good. Please bring Rick Fox, Fisher, Bill Sharman,Jerry West, Scott, Cooper, Pat Riley, Glen Rice, Scot Shields, Matsui, Hunter (Angels). Also let the kids take pictures, I understand about adults, but kids gotta get the pictures.

  • #28

    magiclaker (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 03:38)

Just to clarify, if Horry comes back, it would be great!!!!!!

  • #29

    Scott Henderson (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 09:53)

Kareem would be awesome. Also, it might be foolish to ask, but is it even a possibility that Sandy Koufax would ever do a signing?

  • #30

    Sports Integrity (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 17:19)

HI all! Scott, Koufax would never do a public signing and the fees would not be manageable.

Magiclaker - thanks for feedback. Pics all depends on what time of deal we have with the athlete. If its x numbers of pieces get done for the fee then at times its ok and always up to the athlete. IF its a time deal where he/she only sign for x time we need to make sure all items after public get signed to ensure our costs are taken care of pieces otherwise it would be a huge financial failure on out part.
We also look at the after market product on the athletes brought it. For example, if we have a 500 piece deal with an athlete and say 50 people show up at the store, we have to absorb the rest of the autographs and have to sell them on the market. We need to make sure its product that we wont lose on etc.

Sports Dude - some good points thanks!!!!

GLEN RICE is a great idea!!! Get him and his wife(or ex wife)!! She's smokin' hot..want to get a signed SI swimsuit edition signed by him and her when they posed together in the magazine. Glen Rice and also Gary Payton would be great!

  • #32

    Magiclaker (Tuesday, 16 March 2010 23:45)

Thanks for listening! Jerry West would be an awesome treat of any of the lakers right now. I know that his contractual obligations keep him elsewhere than California, but he has not been signing in quite some time, and he is just such a mentor to many of the current greats, and carries himself with dignity and respectability. Please, if there is a laker that would blow the roof out of the udretail store, it would be him. But, please do not forget the angels, especially Scioscia, and GLAUS. Oh and I thought Sports Integrity was very kind, helpful, and very forthcoming to fans and autograph seekers alike, something I hope you continue.

Hi Sean - Raiders - not in contact with anyone really its a matter of picking someone and making it happen but again it would have to be someone we can sell aftermarket as well.

Whats the boards thoughts on Alexander Ovechkin maybe in June - let me know your thoughts. Pricing would be much higher than recent athletes but he is unreal!!! The talent is phenominal.

Some of the not so popular or less popular lakers on the current team would probably happen. How about Gasol, Fisher, Sasha, Luke Walton, Mbenga. How about older lakers like Magic, Cooper, Rambis, Worthy, Nixon, Abdul Jabbar, Perkins, Jerry West. I am also up for what other people have been talking about lately here. Got to be realistic, Kobe would never happen.

  • #66

    lakermurph (Thursday, 25 March 2010 23:48)

I think Ovechkin would be cool. How steep we talking? I understand it would would be more expensive than the usual auto but if it isn't too high I'm sure you could get a big crowd as it isn't everyday you can bring in the best.

I'm with Danny about Shaq. Even though there has been some tension with LA I know he would sell out in a heartbeat.

  • #67

    Magiclaker (Friday, 26 March 2010 17:57)

Ovechkin is a great player, but Hockey is a hard sell like Adam said. I really like how you guys are reaching out to the collector and fan alike, so I really want to emphatically warn you that hockey is a rough sell in Southern California, other than Gretzky. Rick Fox has come up in many forums as well as his willingness to do a signing from many who have run into him. West last did a signing with Hall of Fame Sports, so he does do signings, just not sure if he is an exclusive to HOF or if he can be persuaded. ANYWAY, THANKS FOR FISHER AND ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK!

  • #68

My oldest got a sig and a pic at Frank & Sons with Magic and that line was well over 400 people long.

I met Jerry West at a public signing about 5 years ago at the Hollywood Park Casino. He is a really nice guy-able to obtain free inscriptions and posed pictures. On the other hand, it would nice to bring in Gary Payton and/or Karl Malone. Even though they were only with LA for one season, they are still adored by LA fans and are future HOFers.

    Sports Integrity (Thursday, 01 April 2010 22:33)

HI All sorry I have not been on been around the country in March doing other events. Thanks for the list of names but some are not possible either because they wont do a public signing or pricing or both. Jordan is a UDA exclusive and never did a public signing. Not something I can do.....Guys that wont happen Kobe, beckham, kareem, de la hoya, rusell, bird, barkley etc.

Throw me some baseball hall of famers like bench, gibson, etc? any old school yankees? Hall of fame football players?

Currently working on Gasol, I can get Shannon Brown, West (trying likely not to happen), Rampage Jackson will most likely happen after his movie stuff is over with, misty may and kerry walsh, jose canseco, AC Green, Andre Ethier....

Like I said the above are not guarantees just wanted to give you a taste of what we are trying to do.

Buster Douglas is possible and will most likely try to bring in some other boxers Lamotta, Buster, Chavez, Camacho...These guys are tough.

Always open to suggestions, you can email me if you wish as well at sportsintegrity@gmail.com

Please know that pictures with Derek Fisher at the signing will not be allowed. They are not our rules trust me.

Thanks for your support with the Fisher signing. If we get the continued support we can make things happen with other names.

    Good night!

    Thanks
    JOE

"auto seeker" and "love the auto seeker": i dont think Sports Integrity was trying to shoot down the request, but was rather letting you know WHY it wouldnt happen. I'm glad that he's being honest with us and letting us know why a signing wouldnt/couldnt happen through his company.

I understand that in order to have a business you have to make money and if your not makin money then you won't have a business to long but you asked who we wanted and we gave u ideas a lot of us don't like hockey and are not going to show up if u get ovy.slam and jam brought in people he thought he was going to make a killin off of either with sells or resells you see what happened to him.you need to bring in people who we the customers want and who will sell out for u that way were happy and u could make money.I really don't think your going to get get rich off resells in less its guys like kobe lebron and jordan but we all know those events won't happen.

    Sports Integrity (Monday, 05 April 2010 11:08)

Autoseeker I understand your point and I value your feedback and everyone else feedback. Some of the names listed on this board are just not possible.

We will continue you listen to requests and try to make this happen that will work. Yes sellouts are great but they rarely happen. Its just a matter of getting the word out. The fisher signing is going well and looking forward to seeing every one next SAT. There are under 100 tickets remaining at this point. Spread the word and thanks for the boards support!

Can we cut SI a break! At least they are listening to us, other promoters tell us who we will see SI is attempting to get us who we want. Who has ever heard of Kobe or Lebron do a public signing? Let's be realistic an try to reach a compromise that satisfies both parties. Would more Lakers be impossible to book?

  • #87

    Jon (Monday, 05 April 2010 22:36)

Gasol, Bo Jackson, Ladanian Tomlinson, umm I thought Slam and Jam was the people behing the Kobe signing at HAX gym for the Lamar Odom Rich Soil event for $400/person??

  • #88

    Sports Integrity (Tuesday, 06 April 2010 18:04)

Hey guys also note that some of these guys are exclusive with other companies so we cant get them for appearnaces - ie Bo Jackson, Kershaw, Kobe, Shaq wont do a public, Magic was just in LA last month for a signing etc.

I can tell you that Gasol will most likley happen towards start of new season unless things change. Working on Sasha, I can get Brown anytime pretty much as well as farmar.

Tried to get Phil Jackson and Pat Riley but they are a no go. So We are working this and it takes a lot of time to do so. I just want you to know we are trying to bring a variety of people in to this awesome UDA store. Bob and staff are great people to work with!

I normally wouldnt want to come on here and say Im trying to get this guy or that guy and then cant deliver. Im trying to be real and upfront with you guys/gals - the fans!

    Thanks for the FISHER support.

    Sports Integrity (Monday, 12 April 2010 18:36)

Hi all....here are some replies to questions above. Will list them as bullet points...

    1. kobe - impossible and he is under contract with Panini
    2. Working on Gasol and should have a deal done prior to next season.
    3. Working on Jerry West - not sure he will agree
    4. Walton I would consider if they win the Title again as well as doing Brown, Farmar, Fisher again and Sasha.
    5. Durant - have to look into
    6. Hershiser definitely a possibility.
    7. Tyson most likely would be a no

Most people mentioned by Raffael above are not feasible for may reasons.

We are looking into bringing Robert Horry and Canseco next month if things work out? Will you come?

    Thanks appreciate the feedback!

  • #102

    hvo15_27 (Monday, 12 April 2010 19:32)

I agree 100 percent w/Magiclaker, "Anyone not allergic to taking photos with the kids would be great!". Hirshiser would be awesome or Valenzuela #34. Joe Torre, Tom Lasorda or what about Vin Scully. People love Vin Scully and since "hopefully not" it's his last year would be a popular booking.

HORRY!!! SPORTS INTEGRITY YOU ROCK! DO YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS OF HORRY SHOOTING THE FAMOUS THREE TO SINK THE KINGS? WHEN HE CAME LAST TIME THE PHOTOS WERE NOT SO GREAT. RAMBIS IS ALSO A GREAT PERSON TO HAVE, A LOT OF PEOPLE NEED HIM FOR THEIR SHOWTIME COLLECTIONS. IS BRIAN SHAW A POSSIBILITY AFTER THEY WIN THE 2010 NBA CHAMPIONSHIP? YOU HAVE EARNED A REPEAT CUSTOMER UD AND SPORTS INTEGRITY, I LOOK FORWARD TO ALL YOU GUYS ARE BRINGING FOR THE FUTURE.

  • #108

    Sports Integrity (Wednesday, 14 April 2010 22:16)

Hi Valenzuela wont do apublic signing, torre costs 6 figures, lasorda wont do it fyi

Magic was just in LA last month so that would have to wait till next year based on how expensive he is.

Kemp is upper deck exclusive, matsui wont do a public and ethier wont do one either at this point. No word from WEST yet but trying.

Dont mind me being short just trying to answer the questions posted about certain players.

Looks like Horry and Rambis if the schedules work next month. Will reach out to Sasha

HI all hope all is well.... here to respond to some inquiries.....
Tried to get Phil Jackson he is not interested.
Artest was just at the Upper Deck store recently
Dozer - most of those guys are not feasible - worthy was just there in DEC will do him again later in the year. Strawberry - not a big demand for him out west.

    Rodman not feasible or us.....
Chave - still looking into it and Reggie Miller prob wont work overall.

MAGICLAKER - Thanks will try to get that photo. Waiting on confirms from Horry and Rambis for next month

Keep the comments coming thank you!

If you monitor a lot of the local signings, these Showtime Lakers have been at free & paid signings within the last year or so: Kareem, Magic, Cooper, Thompson, Worthy, Green. The one who is missing from that list that a lot of people probably need for their collections is BYRON SCOTT.

SI, a friend of mine is in the memorabilia business. When Kazmir got traded to the Halos his agent contacted my friend to inquire about a public signing. I do not know what happened after that but a signing hasn't happened yet, so maybe Kaz is a possibility? He's a 2x all-star and a former strikeout champion.

    lakermurph (Thursday, 22 April 2010 22:13)

Hey, brought up Tony Gwynn but haven't gotten a response. Huntington Beach isn't far from San Diego plus Tony Gwynn is one of the best hitters of all time. He also seems like a great guy that wouldn't mind doing it. Now I know he's busy coaching the Aztecs but sometime in his offseason would be nice. I'm sure he'll be up in the area around the all star game.

Like I said before, it would be very cool if you could bring in groups of baseball stars/retired greats around the all star game since so many will be around. A single player may not draw big but if you brought in a few, it would make it worth it for people.

Just some ideas, let me know about Tony. Thanks for listening.

  • #130

    Sports Integrity (Saturday, 24 April 2010 21:58)

Waiting for an answer for Miller as that may work depends on cost. Working on Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, DR J and some others. Again cant promise but am working on them.

Big Sal - doesnt seem like football stars sell out there but Im open to it.

Laker Joe - Malone wont do it, worthy will have there later this year he was just there in DEC. West - been wokring it but no answer. Baylor I just had him there few months ago and Magic was just at Frank and sons....

Gwynn is out there All star weekend i believe

    Gretzky is impossible FYI

Kasmir isnt a fit for us. He is not one that will sell out and we cant inventory the remainder hundreds of autographs like we do for any signing that doenst sell out. Thanks for the comment though!!

Tried to get Phil Jackson and he is not interested

Think I covered the latest points! Thanks again and Stay tuned for may - Looks like worthy for sure. Tried to get Goodrich and/or Rambis but nothing yet and im running out of time. If that is the case we will add Jose Canseco.

Through my experience I've come to learn that most players of any former team enjoy meeting the fan as this brings them back to their roots and they enjoy the small tales offered. Being a Dodger fan I would suggest Dusty Baker, Raul Mondesi, Ron Fairly, Eric Gagne, Tommy John, Tom Candiotti, Wes Parker, Eric Karros, and Don Zimmer.

FYI Derrick Rose would cost you about $109 on flats at $140 on premiums.

Piazza is imopossible and Martin I believe is an upper deck exclusive athlete

hvo15_27 - HI there ar emany factors - 1) cost of the athlete to appear and 2) are enough people going to buy tickets to justify it
    3) whatever doesnt sell gets inventoried by my company therefore I need to be able to sell it nationally or locally

    Jerry West-he is not interested
Elgin Baylor - already had him at UDA store few months ago
Magic Johnson - Net year - he just signed in LA few months ago
James Worthy - was at UDA in DEC I will bring him back later in yr
Kurt Rambis - Got no reply from him after several attempts
Michael Cooper - I can get him
Byron Scott - I can prob get him
Dennis Rodman - not sure on pricing may be too much
Mickelson - He is not interested in doing signings

Please remember - I DO APPRECIATE every suggestion that is made however please understand that these athletes fees are astronomical. we have to look at cost and decipher how many people may show up. If we have 400-500 piece deals and 50 people show up to the event. That is a catastrophe. Im just being real with you and want you to understand that I am not ignoring specific requests. The player needs to be someone who should draw a decent crowd and then have a decent aftermarket sale potential.

Pls send any questions to sportsintegrity@gmail.com !!

    Thanks again!

kobe has signed in the past for the public, but only to support teammates charities or product launches or for team sponsored events. he's also EXCLUSIVE WITH PANINI (Panini is a competitor of Upper Deck AND they won't let him sign in a corporate owned store. there was a problem with Blake Griffin after he signed there for that reason.)

to keep this post on topic i would like to see more lakers and maybe some clippers! eric gordon would be cool!

    Magiclaker (Saturday, 29 May 2010)

    Sports Integrity (Sunday, 30 May 2010 00:21)

So to be the bearer of bad news - Kobe cant do a public signing no matter what you hear. Thanks!

If the Lakers win anyone up for Fisher again, powell, Brown, Sasha etc?

Still working on Gasol but again may be before next season.....

Even though Rampage lost tonight I still want to do a signing with him. If the Flyers win the cup will do some local signings in PHILA.

We have Hector Camacho in Chicago in July and will try to get him to UDA as well at some point!

    cabral64 (Sunday, 30 May 2010 19:44)

why is russel westbrook prices so high hes just a rookie. i was at the fisher signing the price was fair but hes a great player. i think you'll have more support if the price was a little better

  • #189

    LakeShowFan (Sunday, 30 May 2010 23:06)

Rampage signing would be cool. Also Cooper, Scott, Green, and Rambis would be nice laker signings. Other recommendations are Tito Ortiz, BJ Penn, and Chuck Liddel. Julius Erving and Oscar Robertson would also be very cool.

    lakermurph (Tuesday, 01 June 2010 23:26)

I know you have said that Odom is expensive but I think people would be willing to pay an extra $20 bucks for Odom, especially if we win the Finals this year.

  • #195

    Ryan Ferrer (Wednesday, 02 June 2010 19:10)

I'm attending the Robert Horry Signing this Saturday,
Is that a 16x20 of Horry's shot under the ad?
I also think its a good idea that you guys show or post what pictures are for sale. Thanks Sports Integrity!

  • #196

    leo (Wednesday, 02 June 2010 20:37)

I agree with lakermurph, odom would be great! Id pay the extra money to get his autograph!

  • #197

    Sara (Wednesday, 02 June 2010 22:58)

lakermurph : I don't think Odom's price is the problem. UpperDeck just had him scheduled about 8 months ago and tickets were already sold in advance and he didn't show up. First he changed the time like the day before the event and there was no way to let ticket holders know about the time change, then he flaked the day of the signing, as a huge lined was already outside waiting for him to arrive : (

  • #198

Sports Integrity Sports Memorabilia (Thursday, 03 June 2010 09:36)

FYI Odom would be no where near 20 at his current levels. This prob wont happen if Im being honest.

Any interest in Hall of Famer Gayle Sayers or maybe Paul Hornung?

  • #199

    leo (Thursday, 03 June 2010 13:01)

So then odom is too expensive??

  • #200

    matt0212 (Thursday, 03 June 2010 15:20)

I would buy an Odom ticket for 60 or 70$ and Im not the only one. We need the hole Laker team (may without Kobe). Looking forward for GASOL!

  • #201

    lakermurph (Thursday, 03 June 2010 21:28)

I obviously didn't mean $20, I said "extra 20". I would pay $70 for Odom if it was done right. I bet a lot of other people agree.

  • #202

    JS77 (Thursday, 03 June 2010 23:38)

Gale Sayers would be great! What about soccer players, since world cup is coming up? C. Blanco, Lionel Messi, Pele, Beckham, Ronaldo, Landon Donovan..etc.any of these possible?

  • #203

    lakermurph (Thursday, 03 June 2010 23:41)

    Sara-

I was there and waited from before 11:00 (Odom's scheduled time)to 2:00 for Artest. It was hot and wasn't fun. It was the day before Odom's wedding though so I can't really fault the guy.

I in know way know Odom or the person he is but I'm thinking some random day in the offseason (not before a wedding) would probably work out for both parties. I don't think he's flaky, I just think the wedding came out of nowhere and his priorities changed.

I have asked Sports Integrity about Odom and their reply was that he was too expensive. I am trying to say that I don't think charging $70 dollars would keep people from coming out as people drive from all over and spend their day standing in line which I believe is worth way more than an extra $20.

  • #204

Sports Integrity Autographed Sports Memorabilia (Friday, 04 June 2010 00:02)

I will try to get Odom but can't promise but I will try especially if they win. Any interest in Fisher again? Still trying on Gasol but dont get excited just yet :)

I am going to inquire about Artest and maybe Sasha and Luke Walton.

Lets see what happens! Hope you guys come out for Horry Canseco and Westbrook!!!!!!

    Thanks as always!

    Sara (Friday, 04 June 2010 19:04)

lakermurph: I hear what your saying, I was there as well, it was just real disappointing. I understand the whole last minute wedding thing, but the wedding was the day after the signing. I guess it just bothered me that they showed him later that day, just going to purchase cigars and walking down the streets . I'm sure he has plently of people who could have done that for him. Just sucks for him to flake the day of, knowing he was booked for it months in advance. Especially since the signing only lasts 2 1/2 hours max.
A couple months prior to the wedding and the "Kardashian mess" he was at Frank & Son's , he was abount 2 1/2 hours late , because he was stuck in traffic, so we were all understanding.
CHP & a helicopter escorted him there, so he could arrive faster. That was a super long wait inside a warehouse filled to capacity with NO air inside what so ever and you couldn't wait outside or you'd lose your place in line. It was super humid and sticky inside, but at least he showed up and sat through the whole thing and signed :)
So trust me, it's not about the money for us either or we wouldn't have paid for both events to have something signed by him. He's definitely worth it, just wish he had given a little bit more notice to UpperDeck for the last one.

    matt0212 (Saturday, 05 June 2010 04:54)

Im voting for another Odom/ Artest signing. Both are friends so it should be work. I met Odom 4 years ago in a hotel. He was friendly and signed a ball. Im very pissed off that I forgot to take a picture with him. Im sure, many peaple looking for Lakers signed stuff with a Upper Deck Coa.
